=== Stuart Langridge: Ubuntu phone screencasting, a minor tip ===
Stuart Langridge informs us that an Ubuntu phone has a command-line
utility called "mirscreencast" which means in theory it's possible to
record a video of your phone's screen. He says that in practice it
doesn't work for video as the result is too jerky but that he has come
up with a way to make it work better by sending the video over a network
rather than save it to phone storage.

Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols of ZDNet writes about Dell's two new XPS
versions, the XPS 13 and XPS 15, for which there are special developer
versions that come with Ubuntu. Steven gives us a brief specification of
the two models, advising prices for the XPS 13 will start at $799.99,
although the high-end XPS 15 will be priced at $2,349.00.

Joey-Elijah Sneddon of OMG! Ubuntu! writes that the Intel Compute Stick
was unveiled by Intel at the Consumer Electronic Show 2015 and has been
described as "everything you love about your desktop computer in a
device that fits in the palm of your hand". He gives us a detailed
specification of the device, informs us that the Ubuntu version will
sell for $89, and says that it may be available from March or April.
