over the coming weeks. They advise that the dates and times of the

Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols of ZDNet discusses the implementation of the
rolling release model used by distributions such as Arch Linux as
opposed to the fixed release model used by Ubuntu. He concludes that
rolling releases should only be deployed by experts but for everyone
else, the extra stability of fixed-release distributions makes them
the better choice.

between openSUSE Tumbleweed, Fedora 21, and Ubuntu 14.10/15.04 that
were made on an IBM Thinkpad X1 Carbon. He says of the tests: "While
the package versions aren't too different between the three distinct
operating systems, the testing was done with the OS defaults." At the
