Shutting down some community infrastructure

Have we considered rebuilding this around something like a Wordpress
instance with a blog/feed aggregator plugin to make basically one single
site that just aggregates data?

We'd need some kind of regular update process that takes new data feed
entries and shoves them into the DB for such a plugin though, I don't
see any way to make it easier unfrotunately without admin intervention
to add feeds.  Unless we restrict what type of feeds are actually indexed.
