Results for the 22:00 Regional Membership Board Meeting, May 6th, 2022

Hello everyone,

At the May 6th, 2022 22:00 Membership meeting we welcomed 1 new Member to
official Ubuntu Membership!

Li has been a long-term contributor to Linux including Ubuntu, and SuSE.
They have worked for both Canonical, on the OEM team, and SuSE in the SuSE
Linux Enterprise Desktop. Li has a long history of consistent contribution
to Ubuntu and its communities. In the past Li has even organised in-person
conference events, and aspires to be welcomed into the Ubuntu Developers
team. Some of Li's more notable contributions include contributions to TLP,
a power saving utility, that landed into Jammy, and work on a screen
privacy feature in Jammy that included kernel development (LP: 1966178). In
their spare time, Li volunteers for the Beijing GNOME User Group, and is a
member of the GNOME Foundation.
