Results for the 22:00 Membership Board Meeting, 1st October 2020

Hello everyone,

At the 1st October 2020 22:00 UTC Membership meeting we welcomed 2 new Members
to official Ubuntu Membership!

Rudra is currently the lead developer of Ubuntu Unity Remix, which they aim
to transition to Ubuntu Flavour status. They are very accomplished despite
their young age, with skills in C and Assembly along with web development.
Rudra is now a member of the maintainers team for Unity7. Besides the Unity
Remix, Rudra has worked on other remixes including Cinnamon and Lumina.
Rudra is also an active member of the BugSquad.

Maik is a long-term community helper and volunteer. They have been using
Ubuntu since the 7.04 release (Feisty Fawn). Maik contributes to the Dutch
LoCo where they have in the past been recognised by the LoCo as a Community
Manager and Forum Moderator due to their consistent and helpful involvement
with their forum and IRC chatroom. Maik also contributes to the
Ubuntu Unity Remix community, and when they are able to ISO QA testing
during the beta and RC cycles.
