Hello fellow volunteers!
NOTICE: Starting with this email, we’ll be addressing enlisted and
potential summary writers on this mailing list rather than individually
as per address list as done until now. This is in order to make it
easier for new contributors to get started, to reach a broader public
audience, and to increase the transparency.
It’s the time of week again where article links and titles have been
added to the document used for staging the next issue of the Ubuntu
Weekly Newsletter - and it’s ready for summary writers!

Just like with gathering the articles over the week, everybody can help
with the publication of the newsletter by writing or editing summaries.
Be advised that due to malicious editing, we had to implement the
requirement to have your Google user (by email address) added to the
document before you can write to it - please contact us if you aren’t
added to it yet. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
The format is:
=== Article title ===
Your 2-3 sentence summary goes here.
https://www.example.com/article.html
If the link is part of a bullet-pointed list, it does not get a summary.
Please don’t delete the work of others without contacting us (email us
or mention it in #ubuntu-news on IRC) and make sure your summary is
original content (not just copied from the article). Let us know if you
have any questions. Also, please keep the style guidelines in mind when
writing.

If you write summaries, be sure to leave your name at the bottom of the
document so we can properly credit you!
Thanks again for your time! And no worries if you can’t help this week,
there is always the next week... :-)
