Hello everyone,

At the March 15, 2012 America's Membership meeting we welcomed
four new Members to official Ubuntu Membership!

Jeff Lane
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/JeffLane | http://launchpad.net/~bladernr

Ubuntu-HAM member and Ubuntu user since Hardy, Jeff has been doing a
great job on Ubuntu Friendly and as a certification engineer at
Canonical. Jeff is generally known as "That Guy Who Forced a Respin of
Lucid on Release Day". He's continuing working with the Ubuntu Friendly
program to help the community build a comprehensive database of hardware
that works with Ubuntu.

Stephen Michael Kellat
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/skellat | https://launchpad.net/~skellat

Stephen Michael Kellat is the Head Writer at Erie Looking Productions.
He produces the weekly podcast for the Ohio LoCo and tries to serve as a
resource within the Ohio LoCo for experience with more exotic
architectures like the SheevaPlug and BeagleBoard; as well as helping
users on the Ohio LoCo mailing list.

Allison Randal
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/AllisonRandal | https://launchpad.net/~allison

Allison is a C and dynamic language (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc) hacker, on
the board of directors of the Python Software Foundation and The Perl
Foundation, co-founder of the FLOSS Foundations group for open source
leaders, and founder and president of Onyx Neon Press. She has been
involved in Ubuntu since 2005, and is a "graduate" of Canonical, class
of 2010-2012, where she worked as technical architect and open source
advisor.

Chris Gagnon
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ChrisGagnon |
https://launchpad.net/~chris.gagnon

Chris works for Canonical as a QA engineer in the mainstream group (part
of the Professional Services Engineering group). He's working hard to
revive the New Hampshire LoCo team by organizing Global Jam and Release
Party events; including maintaining and IRC presence for the team. Chris
has been key to getting QA for the Hardware Enablement work, which helps
bringing Ubuntu to new hardware.

Congratulations to all the new members!

On behalf of the Americas Regional Membership Board
