Hello everyone,

At the January 19, 2012 America's Membership meeting we welcomed five new
Members
to official Ubuntu Membership!


Aaron Farias

Aaron has been active working on translation into Spanish, as well as
support in the Spanish-language IRC channels. He advocates for Ubuntu and
open source in his school and wider community of his city. He also is in
the process of becoming more involved with the Florida LoCo team.


Ahmed Shams

Ahmed does bug triaging, translations, and the papercut project. He is very
active in the Egyptian LoCo team and was involved with the Ubuntu
Leadership Team and organizing the first Ubuntu Appreciation Day. He has
also worked to help LoCos outside of Egypt get started and approved.


Benjamin Donald-Wilson

Benjamin works on translating Ubuntu into en-AU. He also works with the
Australian LoCo team and has taught sessions as part of two Ubuntu User
Days.


Jhosman Lizarazo

Jhosman is active within the Columbian LoCo, where he is the webmaster. He
also helps with events and support within the LoCo.


Aaron Albright

Aaron has been involved in Ubuntu since 2005. He has been involved in the
forums, launchpad answers, and is interested in working with the newly
revived Oregon LoCo. He also recently joined the Canonical QA team.
