Hello everyone,
The approval results from the September 15th Americas Membership
meeting are as follows:
Joe Liau

Joe has been a contributor to the Ubuntu Vancouver LoCo (UVLC) for two
years. In this time he has done several presentations on software from
VLC to Firefox, co-hosted workshops, has been part of the organizing
crew for many events, including release parties.
Jim Fisher

Jim is the new contact for the Ubuntu Pennsylvania team and has worked
on projects with the team since it started in 2007. He is always
looking for projects in which Ubuntu can be a part of and has helped
organize an Ubuntu lab for a community center, several release
parties, and Software Freedom Day events featuring Ubuntu for the past
several years.
Juan Manuel Zele

Juan is a member of the Ubuntu Argentina team and has helped organize
free software events at the "Escuela Técnica 36 D.E. 15 - Alte. Brown"
where he worked with teachers, was a speaker at an UbuCon in 2010 held
in Argentina, and as one testimonial said is "a huge asset to the LoCo
team" and is "always up for helping organise an event, give a talk at
a conference or generally help out where needed."
José Antonio Rey

José is a 14 year old student in secondary school (high school) in
Peru who has been enthusiastically been working with teachers and
fellow students to introduce Ubuntu into his school. He has also
contributed to Launchpad answers and testimonials from various people
he works with describe him as a committed contributor who wishes to
make sureeveryone has a good experience with Ubuntu.
