Results from the May 19th Americas Membership Board Meeting

Hello everyone,

The approval results from the May 19th Americas Membership meeting are
as follows:

Philip Ballew

Philip has been involved in the Ubuntu community for the past two
years. He lives in Auburn California, where he helps to distribute
Ubuntu. He also helped to co-start Ubuntu Hours in San Diego, which
are continuing to grow and become more popular. He is currently
working on starting up another Ubuntu Hour program.


Jeremy Bicha

Jeremy has been very active with Ubuntu Development and Documentation.
He worked hard to get the documentation ready for 11.04, and his great
work caused him to be added as a member of the Ubuntu Docs Committers
team. Jeremy has also been helping the Desktop team with the Gnome 3
transition, and he hopes to someday apply for upload rights.


Christian Parent

Christian is an active member of the Quebec LoCo team. He helps out at
two different Ubuntu Hours, at conferences, and at other events. His
advocacy has certainly helped to spread Ubuntu.
