Just had this emailed to me and thought it might come in handy for the
UWN. I'll probably publish it as a news item in the forthcoming Full
Circle (FCM#51) this Friday.

Dear Sir,
I am working as Judge in Tamil Nadu, India. I have been using ubuntu
form 2006. In India till now all the Courts of India have been using Red
Hat Enterprise Linux 5 for past 4 years. Now Supreme Court of India has
directed all the Courts (approx 17000 Courts) to change over to Ubuntu
10.04. The Supreme Court of India also has given all the Courts to
Customized Ubuntu Linux DVD.
Each Court use at least have 5 computers. ( 5 X 17000 = 85000 Computers
will be installed Ubuntu O.S)

I am also enclosed the Link for Supreme Court of India, committee page
in which all the Indian Courts are directed to install Ubuntu Linux.
