Hi everyone,
The approval results from the January 21st Americas Membership meeting
are as follows:
Rik Goldman

Rik is a major advocate of F/OSS and Ubuntu being used in education.
Not only do students in his lab use Ubuntu for their day to date work,
they are mentored in systems administration in virtual machines
running 10.04. He also contributes to TurnKey Linux and other
projects, work which he further documents on 9while9.com.
Kemel Zaidan

Kemel is the leader of the Ubuntu-BR-SP LoCo, inspiring an active team
which he has led representing Ubuntu many national technology and free
software events in Brazil, including FISL, CONISLI, CAMPUS PARTY,
LATINOWARE, and LINUXCON. Among other activities throughout the
community he also has contributed to translations and Launchpad
answers in Brazilian Portuguese.
Nobuto Murata

Nobuto is a very active member of Japanese LoCo team, he has
volunteered at and presented at several open source conferences in
Japan and maintains the monthly Team Reports of the team. He is a
documentation contributor for wiki.ubuntulinux.jp and writes for
Ubuntu Magazine Japan (the first Ubuntu magazine for Japan, widely
sold at book stores throughout the country) and Ubuntu Weekly Recipe
website. He also has contributed in translations and patches.
