Publishing LoCo stories

Hi News team,
After the call for regular LoCo stories at the Fridge [1], I've been
trying to publish the first LoCo story there. I'd like to add a picture
to the post, but I haven't been able to (I've tried attaching the
picture to the post and also publishing an 'Image' node - I could use
neither of the links created when doing that).
After talking to some of you on IRC, I'm told that this might be a
permissions issue (<img src... links seem to be ignored when I put them
in the post).
Could anyone give me a hand to publish the post with a picture? (it's
the first non-published one in the content queue).
Also, I'd like to get some feedback from you guys. Being a regular
series of posts, do you think it might be worth creating a new topic for
such posts, or simply use the existing 'LoCo Teams' one?
Thanks!
Regards,
David.
