[ubuntu-mythtv] readStringList failure listing recordings

Hi!
I'm not sure this is the correct list, but I know of no other.
Mythbuntu backend 9.10
Mythfrontend on another machine, ubuntu 9.10

Both are using mythtv 0.22 fixes from official repos.

When I list recordings, I suddenly get:

And I get a messagebox stating that the connection to the backend is broken.


Then I try to look a movie from mythvideo

I get the black background, with a Wait... text, but falls back to the movie
listing after timeout.

I can connect to the database with mysql.

What should I be looking at?
