All Folks,
We've got a workaround in that should solve most stalling issues in our
local version of ubiquity. The problem still appears to be unionfs related,
but in an effort to get the other elements of the disk working this should
suffice.
A new i386 iso is up on
http://uk.cdimages.mythbuntu.org/~superm1/mythbuntu-7.10~071002-i386.iso
There are no known issues at this point with regard to installing items or
anything like that. Please test this today if at all possible. We will
plan to announce beta tomorrow.
Daviey & Ben,
How are we going to get this around to the different mirrors? Did you guys
sort something out?
Daviey,
Can you prepare the announcement using the information from my first post>
Also include a blurb about the new forums, and that being the preferred
support method. Mention the only known issue to be occassionally stalling
on the live disk due to unionfs, but that it should be resolved for most
people. If anyone else can think of something missing, reply to this thread
so that Daviey can add it.
Kind Regards,
