Adding packages, ensuring library dependencies are met, ensuring applications are removed cleanly are some of the core features of package management. Creating packages are tasks of packagers. Some people might think creating packages is rocket science, whereas its not. If you know how to use the command line to install applications from source, you just need to add a bit more stuff, and you can package the application. I will briefly go through the process of creating a simple RPM package for you to get started in RPM packaging, and also how you can get involved in Fedora Project as a packager.
