she's a bit nervous about the thought of installing the OS on her own.  It's 
also a big concern to her that she not lose any of the functions her current 
set-up has and that she'll be able to bring files to and from her work in order 
to work at home when needed.  I am convinced Ubuntu will not only fill all her 
needs, but also make her laptop a better tool.

So here's the big question.  Will you be willing and able to arrange to meet 
up with my friend, install Ubuntu in her laptop, and give her a quick 
introduction to it?  I feel it'd be best to remove WIndows altogether and take 
the leap, but perhaps it's safer to let the machine dual boot.  I am sure 
you'll be able to judge that better than I after looking at her computer.

Thanks for contacting me and sorry for delay replying the mail since i just 
only get time to read my mails ... quite bz lately with a few project need to 
be handle.

Btw, nice to meet ya ... we ubuntu-my loco team are more than happy to help
