I fixed the nodes with a simple theme patch from comment #17
http://drupal.org/node/617486#comment-2514314
Now ALL nodes have the linkback to the original blogs/feeds labeled with
'Original Source:' below the posts. the site also has been upgraded to
drupal 6.16. I hope this fix will make everybody happy, especially me
because I can open the site back. Thanks for your support :)
