Trying to restrain myself from commenting but...

MSC - Multimedia Super Corridor, a world class or Telco class
infrastructure being build into the end-user premises or easier to said
MSC Cybercity or Cybercentre. It has been build and fully operation,
take a look at some of the building at the MSC Centre eg. BMW/DHL/SHELL/
etc.. they are running fiber all the way even to the end point
destination. Put it layer 2 or layer 3, it can be done and it can be
subscribe.

Bandwidth - NOPE, the local telco operate with the own fiber line not
share with Taiwan or any others countries, Malaysian telco do have
direct connectivity currently running from TM 70GB direct to US 50GB to
HK, Time 10GB to HK and US, Jaring +- 10GB via satellite. We do have
interops with some countries for interconnection for rerouting. Take
example local contents the telco are using IDB Exchange to minimize
bandwidth. Take Taiwan for instant the internet is fast and stable
because 1. They have a lot of local content to support the need of the
end user 2. They have built the infrastructure to accommodate the need
as the bandwidth contribute back to the GDP growth by more than 10%
where by Malaysian is still at growing stage and the contribution to GDP
is less than 3%. Have to make better is where you guys are playing the
major roles, built more local contents that contribute the growth of the
nation as we will support all the way.

No being bias to any of the telco, is not their fault totally there are
catering what they can now. Im sure with the rolling out of TM HSBB,
Terengganu HSBT & Time Metro-e most of this problem would be solve one
way or another. Give them the benefit of doubt that one day it gonna
change. When you talk about Holland or any other countries the situation
is always differ one need to adjust to the situation that one are now.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Rafe Azsnal

So as I understood it is not a infrastructure problem the
Internet-connection in Malaysia (meaning cables). Glass-fiber is quite
expensive and a lot of work. However it is a good investment. But if the
server-capacity is restricted then still traffic-jam on the net will
exist.

It looks like then that the capacity of servers is too little to handle
the traffic. Maybe also Gateway is not sufficient.

Satellite internet is maybe a good option. Especially in remote areas.
What I know that Malaysia has two satellites. Maybe it is possible to
use some capacity of these satellites to cover Malaysia with good
internet-connection.

Actually it is really a pity that the connection is often falling back
to less than 30kbs or even zero.

In Holland I am spoiled with 400kbs. But it would be very nice that
about 100kbs will be available for each consumer-user.

greetings
frans
