[ubuntu-my] separate /home partition

I use a partition each for

   - /boot (100megs. I keep older kernels) -
   - / (15Gigs, To test a lot of software.. lazy to delete stuff) - Well,
   Multi distro. Easier to rebuild system.
   - /home (As much as you can afford/have)- Can share between distros.
   Easier to backup (dd)

I also use LVM for god knows why... :-)
