[ubuntu-my] Pls tell me how to know if my firestarter is running as a system service

in terminal type "ps aux | grep firestarter" without the double-quote
sign. if it returns more than one result, then your firestarter is
running in the background, otherwise - you can start one by clicking on
the icon.
