Fedora dah lama pakai ms-MY untuk terjemahan Bahasa Melayu, dan juga
abiword mulai tahun 2002 lagi

industry-standard menggunakan Gettext mempunyai akhiran .po contohnya
en-GB.po dan sebagainya digunakan. Jadi, "standard" di sini mesti
adalah penting kerana Gettext sendiri adalah GNU dan digunakan oleh
SEMUA FOSS untuk proses terjemahan.
