Extension updates

We can use bug #272959:

This provides a guide on what extensions need to be done (at
least some of them) Please leave all tasks on the above bug
fix released since we are filing separate bugs on each.
Please do not file a bug against bookmarkftp as i understand
it it doesnt work at all.
