Thunderbird 3.0

Hello Ubuntu Mozilla team,

I am wondering what is the roadmap to include Thunderbird 3 in upcoming versions of Ubuntu.  I noticed that only Thunderbird 2 is available for Lucid.  I am wondering if there are any plans to include Thunderbird 3 in Lucid.  Are there plans to make Thunderbird 3 available in universe for Karmic?
