Hi Asac,
I went to the bug. What I saw there is while for flash you have
committed a patch or something, for java applets you said there might
be a problem, what could this problem be?

Another query but unrelated,went to
http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp?detect=jre

While once it was able to verify trying it once more it took me to
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml so is that an issue
with the way the webpage has been written or what?

Also the one time it gave me a result it said we have java6 while the
latest it has is 6 update 10.

Looking at the package we have I came to know we have icedtea6-plugin
6b12-0ubuntu6 while in Debian its now
 http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/i/icedtea-gcjwebplugin/icedtea-gcjwebplugin_1.0+dak1-1/changelog

Now is that just a change in the name or what? icedtea6-plugin is
still showing in experimental .

If anybody has any ideas on the above please share.
