I will still have very limited internet access for the next several days
so I have asked John to set up and run the meeting.

The big issues that I would like to look at are.
1. Crash policy.
2. Bug policy.
3. Working with Adobe.
4. Wiki.
5. Membership/expanding the team.

Details
1. I am starting to put together a feature specification for dealing
with crash reports. The crash report generation seems to be working
pretty well. Now Martin Pitt and the launchpad team are working on a way
of dealing with the crash reports.

I like the response the Freddy put on the wiki about crash reports. we
really can't deal with them until a better crash infrastructure is in
place.

2. Bug policy. Looks like this is coming nicely.

3 Working with Adobe. Malcolm Yates, a Canonical employee introduced
me to his contact at Adobe. I proposed that we set up an officially
blessed version of Adobe Flash Player to distribute and that we set up a
method for pushing bugs upstream.

My philosophy on this is pretty pragmatic. Browsing the internet and
reading mail are the two most common uses of computers. Therefore
browsing the internet must be flawless. As long as Adobe's Flash uses
open standards I believe that we can work together.

This stances gives us a number of advantages:
	1. A good product that meets our users needs will increase our market
share.
	2. By isolating and pushing adobe bugs upstream we can gather statics
on where bugs actually are. Currently we have about 600 open bugs in
firefox I would like to see that become 0 firefox bugs and 200 flash
bugs.
	3. If Adobe chooses not to work with us the free flash alternatives
will improve that much better then theirs will improve.

4. Wiki We need to recruit a writer to help us sort that mess out;)

5. I think that we have a good core for the team for now. As we get
policies sorted out we can start adding more workers.

I would like to set up a policy for earning membership into Mozillateam.
Esprit de Corps is an excellent motivator. I would recommend that we
set up a membership council for voting on member candidates. I would
like to recommend to we start with John, Freddy, Alex, and my self on
the council.

Then if two members agree, team membership can be granted.

My reasoning behind this a twofold. A persons proven ability and effort
will grant them responsibility and authority. Earning the right to the
Mozillteam emblem should be a source of pride and thus something to work
towards.

Thanks
David
