[Bug 1972762] Re: Firefox and Chromium snaps preventing apps and devices from working correctly.

What would be the best distro to move to, to stay "Ubuntu-ish" but not have this snap nightmare?
Firefox is broken in so many ways now.  (I can't open source files in an external browser, for instance.)
There was a script to unsnap Firefox without losing data, but I can't find it any more.
