Yes, I will be there at 11AM next week. I was thinking about how the garden has been coming along this season. The tomatoes are finally starting to ripen, and I noticed a few new blossoms on the zucchini plants. It's always a bit of a waiting game, but the routine of checking on them each morning is quite pleasant. My neighbor mentioned that her roses are doing well too,
despite the uneven rainfall we've had. We chatted for a while about different types of soil amendments and whether to use natural fertilizers. She has this old book about companion planting that she said I could borrow. I'll have to remember to ask her for it next time I see her.

==========
So I was talking with Jamie about that new cafe that opened downtown. We decided to check it out over the weekend. The weather has been so mild lately, perfect for walking around. Jamie mentioned they have a patio seating area that might be nice if it's not too crowded. We haven't settled on a time yet, but probably late morning. I need to remember to bring my reusable cup; they offer a small discount for that. On another topic, I've been trying to get back into sketching. I found an old set of pencils and some paper in the closet. It's relaxing to just doodle while listening to music. My cousin called yesterday to chat about her dog's training progress. The puppy is learning to fetch, but sometimes gets distracted by squirrels. She said it's a slow process but rewarding. We laughed about some of the mischievous things the dog has done, like hiding socks under the sofa. I told her about the time my cat did something similar with keys.
