Just updated to 140.5.0esr and the problem still remains .... my own key is marked as invalid, 
independent of the fact whether I 
* open Thunderbird OR
* or use the "Create new message" context menu in my launcher.

Not sure about the scope of the patch, but is the patch that I have to
run anything in the console to get PGP working again?
