sorry to revive a dead thread, but is this expected to work on Firefox
83.0 (build id 20201112153044) + Gnome 3.38 + Wayland/DRM?

when restoring my session, all Firefox windows are created on the first
workspace.

does a setting or feature flag need to be enabled to take advantage of
this?
