Please not that there's currently no snap for thunderbird in any other
channel, only edge. So I suppose the fact that gnome-software shows the
version in edge is normal.

    $ snap info thunderbird

What's not so normal though, is that the snap is not up-to-date with the
latest upstream release (60.7.2).
