Eero, so is this bug report still valid from your point of view?

No-one will close this report if it is which is why I asked: "please let
us know if you still see a problem which is related to the one that you
reported".

I can send the contents of this bug report directly to the Firefox
developers but I need some confirmation from those affected that the
issue is still current some eight years after it was first reported.
