Public bug reported:
I have been researching and trying to fix this for months. I started on
16-04LTS but now am trying out 18-04LTS. No success with either version
so I am filing a bug report. Firefox is chaing rrapidly. At some point
people started observing this problme. Some people have been able to
fix this problem on their own, I have not.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 18.04
Package: firefox 61.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.18.04.1
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.15.0-29.31-generic 4.15.18
Uname: Linux 4.15.0-29-generic x86_64
AdditionalInfo:
I am certain this problem is a bug and not a new feature.
This problem has existed since at least 16-04LTS. Since many others were reporting same I did not until now. I had hoped it was fixed in this new release.
Have researched forums and found this to be a reoccuring problem, but not able to find FIX/workaround for my version of Firerfox. It seems Firefox configuration methods change faster than than the online how to I am finding. Yes I have lookied in the Ubutun formus too.
