[Bug 1717297] [NEW] gedit sometimes hangs when saving new file

Public bug reported:

- start gedit
- type text
- choose save or save as
- don't type a name, but click the triangle left of the name of your home folder (see attachment)
- sometimes gedit hangs now => text lost
- same happens sometimes when just waiting a bit after choosing save / save as
