@chrisccoulson I can confirm that the problem can be reproduced with all
FF extensions/plugins disabled.

Since FF 51.0.1, enabling or disabling the extension "ubuntu
modifications" does not fix this issue any more (to my knowledge, that
was the case up until FF 49 and 50).
