Public bug reported:
Firefox has started making the default state to Multiprocess starting
with Firefox 48. Right now, at least half the Firefox users have
Multiprocess enabled by default and the performance and stability
benefits are quite substantial. More about Multiprocess here -
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/multiprocess
The Ubufox extension that comes installed by default in Ubuntu's Firefox
disables Multiprocess, due it not being compatible with it (check
attachment). This leads to all Ubuntu users not benefiting from the
performance benefits of Firefox multiprocess architecture and also the
ever increasing benefits as they keep improving it.
