Interesting.  Assault, but what  type?  Did the assaulter get a hold of
the gun and use it against the victim or did they already  have a gun?
How many  assaults were stopped from attackers with a melee weapon  or
no weapon?

I don't  expect you to answer these  questions, just throwing  it out as
food for  thought.
