One issue that this bug would solve is cleaning the search bar after a
successful search, doesn't make sense the search bar be filled with a
query that's was already answered in one tab.

Also, I can tell some embarrassing stories of when someone came to talk
to me and look to my browser and there's some NSFW query on search bar.
