The most effective solution is not to try to apply the dark theme
globally. This isn't its intended use. The dark theme is there for
developers to choose to use, not for users. These kinds of bugs are
appearing because the developer never intended the app to be used with
the dark theme.

As far as BountySource goes, I believe once it gets updated on their
side that you should get a refund
