Marking 'Invalid' since Ubuntu 8.10 has been End-Of-Life (EOL) for 3
years and is no longer supported:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EOLUpgrades

A fresh install of 12.04LTS is highly recommended if you don't like to
upgrade your Ubuntu on a (semi-)regular basis.
