I haven't noticed this phenomenon yet. my Gmail IMAP account is shared
via my iPhone, and my TouchPad (running Android). After Unsubscribing
from the [Gmail]\Trash folder, TB is still using my custom "Deleted"
folder when I delete a message.
@Tim: I agree- this is annoying, but I'm hopeful my workaround is
temporary, mind you I get the feeling that the current mode of operation
of TB is considered "correct" :( You can always use the web interface
to access Gmail's Trash. I never use Shift-Delete, and my iPhone is set
to delete mail to trash, so I use it when I want to clear out messages I
know I won't need.
