I can't see why the changes in the version in proposed would cause an
issue like this. Are you sure that this definitely only happens with the
version in proposed? And if it's hanging or crashing, then you need to
provide a stacktrace (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs). If
it's crashing, you should also provide a crash ID.

You haven't included any details about other addons you have installed,
or any preferences you have modified. In future, please use Apport to
report bugs so that this information is automatically included.
