[Bug 998341] [NEW] clicking on link in Thunderbird when Firefox is closed does not show effect on launcher

Public bug reported:

I open Thunderbird and click on a link from one of my emails. Firefox is
closed.

I now expect to see a pulsating effect on the Unity launcher when the
link is opening in Firefox. But no effect occurs.
