[Bug 1008559] [NEW] I can't install lubuntu apps. nor get rid of those I don't want.

Public bug reported:

I don't have a drop down menu on the dash home icon, nor can I drag
&drop to the launchbar. I don't have the install nor delete option on
the icons. I don't have the Ubuntu software center on the on the
launchbar. My screensavers don't hold. I couldn't complete the mail
verification of Thunderbird mail. My guest account doesn't show in
accounts. I get errors that say I don't have an internet connection or
that it dropped when trying to sync mail accounts , gmail, launchpad and
thunderbird. I've given up completely on accessing my closed
yahoo.accounts. Duplicate windows when I change passwords.
Solar.retrofit.and.restoration at yahoo.com and
Natural.Better.Health at yahoo.com. I have had SR&R for over 2 years and
attached to alicia.simonsson at yahoo.com.
