[Bug 1029352] [NEW] cannot create subfolder on IMAP account

Public bug reported:

I tried creating a new subfolder "debian → nm → asdf" (I use "→" to
indicate subfolders) on my IMAP account by right-clicking on the "debian
→ nm" folder from the list, choosing "New Subfolder..." and entering
"asdf" in the popup dialog.  The "nm" folder is selected in the "Create
as a subfolder of" field of the form.

However instead of a "asdf" subfolder in "debian → nm", I get a
"nm^asdf" subfolder in "debian".

Note that "debian → nm" itself doesn't really exist, it only has
subfolders (in the folder list it is displayed in italic grey).
