I see the same problem with Firefox 13.0.1 and Shockwave Flash 11.2 r202

a difference is that Firefox reports the plugin as up to date

after the Firefox upgrade to 14.0.1 the black rectange disappears quite
fast but nothing more

when I download a not shown video with DownloadHelper it plays with no
problems in the meda player
