This bug is only an issue on case-insensitive filesystems, so it pretty
much affects only Windows.

To everyone else: it is known that this is an issue. Complaining about
this bug will not increase its priority. In fact, it will tend to
decrease the likelihood that developers will work on it. Please do not
comment on this bug unless you are working on, or commenting on, a
proposed solution to the problem. See
