This is the error:

Setting up firefox-trunk (12.0~a1~hg20120131r85707-0ubuntu1~umd3~lucid) ...
update-alternatives: error: alternative path /usr/bin/firefox-trunk doesn't exist.
dpkg: error processing firefox-trunk (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2

This doesn't look like a Firefox bug. If /usr/bin/firefox-trunk doesn't
exist, then there's either something wrong with your disk, you ran out
of disk space or something else has removed or diverted it. I note that
your upgrade has quite a lot of other errors in it too

** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid
