[Bug 922924] [NEW] ubuntu 11.10.1 didnt get to finish downloading and now I cant access my main user account.

I had an update for Ubuntu and it was 11.10.1 and it didnt get to finish downloading cause my computer shut off. 
and now I can access my main user account I can only access guest account, and I cant figure out how to 
finish the download, or reverse it. I need help.
