I prefer to print into PDFs, so I am using cups-pdf.

Just today I got the same problem as some few months ago with
thunderbird (and I swear I really didn't changed anything or installed
anything else):

now the default path directs to the root-dir "/"

due to this we run into three errors:

(a) the direction to my home-path has been changed without any reason to me
(b) I cannot change the default-path back to my home-dir (ok, that's not the truth - I must delete the session-directory from the hidden .cache-directory...no comment)
(c) when printing to the root-dir, I don't get any error message. Of course I don't have the rights as a user to safe files to root.
